Nothing could have been better.

This hotel is a hidden gem, especially during peak season. Its strategic location right next to the JR Minami Kusatsu station is a major advantage. It's so convenient to hop on the train and reach popular attractions in Kyoto in just minutes. And if you have a JR pass, it's even better as you can use the train for free. The hotel is also very new and clean, which is a great touch. I noticed that certain floors even have vending machines and coin-operated washing machines and dryers, making it incredibly convenient to do laundry if needed. Plus, the staff is really helpful and accommodating. I experienced this firsthand when they provided extra towels and toiletries without any additional charge when our group miscounted. this hotel definitely offers good value for money.

I had a great stay in this hotel during my exploration of this city. The hotel was very clean and had all the facilities that I needed, including a bathtub that was deep and relaxing. The location of this hotel was one of the best aspects as it was right next to the train station, making it easy for me to get to Kyoto in about 20 minutes. Additionally, there were convenience stores, grocery and drug stores located around the hotel which was very convenient.

Spending my xmas weekend at the hotel was fantastic. The location was perfect and conveniently located close to public transportation. I was able to explore the various restaurants in the surrounding area easily. The mall next to the station was a plus that provided me with some last-minute shopping. The rooms were cozy but provided me with all I needed. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets. I also liked that the staff was attentive and always there to offer assistance.

The wifi was a total disappointment as it was either slow or not working at all. This made it difficult for me to stay connected with my work emails. The rooms were a bit small and difficult to put my luggage, but for my short stay, it was okay.
